The existing backyard was previously fenced on 2 sides with deteriorating wood, small concrete pad and 3 bushes. Our client wanted functional outdoor space with relatively low maintenance. In order to install our 24”x 24” porcelain pavers, we excavated 6” of existing soil, stabilized the remaining soil with concrete and brought the base up to grade with ABC. The porcelain pavers were laid down and mortar was put down in between each paver to allow for a stable base and gluing surface for the turf.
