At over 3,000 square feet, this pool deck project demanded a material palette and design language that could carry a space of serious scale without feeling monotonous.
Techo-Bloc Blu 45 and Blu 60 pavers lay the foundation across the expansive pool surround, their varied sizing creating a dynamic, textured field that holds visual interest from every angle. The result is a deck that feels purposeful and refined — wide enough to host a crowd, detailed enough to impress up close.
The standout feature of the pool level is the Techo-Bloc Valencia fire pit, set within a circular herringbone inlay that serves as a natural gathering point separate from the pool itself. The contrast between the herringbone pattern and the three-piece pattern of the surrounding deck gives this zone its own identity while remaining cohesive with the larger design. Landscape lighting placed throughout the space ensures the fire pit area is just as inviting after the sun goes down.
Out front, Techo-Bloc Westmount walkways branch through sweeping river rock beds in a four-way crossroads pattern centered on a circular medallion — a design element that immediately communicates craftsmanship and intentionality. Young trees and low-growing plantings are woven throughout the rock beds, and with 400 plants installed across the full landscape scope, the property is set up to grow more beautiful with every season.
